Pirate of Penzance
GPCS High School Chorus has two more performances of this Broadway Gilbert & Sullivan musical. The last two performances are Friday & Saturday, May 4 & 5. Show time is at 7:30pm. Come and see our seniors in their last high school musical; Than Peterson, Jordan Peters, Adam Simpson, Alex Martel, & Emilie Steinwachs.

GPCS bowl-a-thon
GPCS Bowlathon was a fun day! Grades preK– 8th added to their bowling by dressing up as Nerds. Check out grade 3 to the right. Grades 9-12 went with an 80’s theme. Thank you to all who participated. Over $14,000 was raised! The top 3 collectors are: 1st- Magdalene Meek 2nd– Owen Mann 3rd– Kaley Meehan Thank you!
GPCS High School Art Contest
GPCS High School Students participated in Maine Academic Day held at Bangor Christian School. Some of our students chose to enter the art category of the day. Prior to going to Bangor, GPCS had the student exhibit their projects here and judged. Thank you to Angela Libby, Sarah Collins, Andrew Marston (class of 2005) and Laurie Marston for judging. The results are: 1st place– Haylee Sullivan 2nd place– Hannah Kelly 3rd place– Emilie Steinwachs Honorable Mentions: Creativity– Lydia Chick Originality– Davie Frye Presentation– Madeline Minor
GPCS Seniors Applying to college
GPCS Seniors are busy applying to colleges.
On a wall in their homeroom, the seniors post their acceptances. Pray for them as they go through the
process of applying, acceptances, and then choosing. The
following colleges have accepted one or more of our seniors: Eastern
University, University of Maine, University of New Hampshire,
University of New England, University of Southern Maine, Gordon
College, Messiah College, Southern New Hampshire University, Palm
Beach Atlantic University, Cedarville University, Colby– Sawyer
College, & Eastern Nazarene College.
GPCS Moms Get connected
There are many ways GPCS moms can get connected at GPCS. Even if you have not participated yet, you all are welcome to join in any time. Moms in Touch meets Monday morning at Patty Whiting’s house. This is a time set aside every week to gather and pray for GPCS, teachers & students. You can contact Patty at [email protected] or 883-3403 for more information. We also have moms that get together to work out. The moms meet in the gym Monday –Thursday mornings. Moms also get together on Thursday mornings at Panera. Once the kids are dropped off at school, we gather, get some coffee, and fellowship.

GPCS students live in 29 surrounding towns! Here's a list from most to least. South Portland, Scarborough, Windham, Westbrook, Portland, Saco, Buxton, Cape Elizabeth, Gorham, Biddeford, Old Orchard Beach, Standish, Freeport, Hollis, Gray, Lyman, Bar Mills, Pownal, N. Waterboro, Topsham, Yarmouth, Parsonsfield, Durham, E. Waterboro, Limerick, Kennebunk, W. Kennebunk, New Gloucester, & Harrison.

working together can help close the gap.

GPCS benefits.

Education.
- Campbell's Soup Labels
- Hannaford School Dollars. Our store is the Hannaford at Millcreek. But, you can send in your
school dollars to school and we will turn them in to Millcreek for
you.
- GPCS athletics are collecting Coke rewards - see Chris
